January 2014

Well 2015 is flying by so far, I feel like I’ve barely had time to sit down this month but it’s been great – no January blues here! I thought I’d share what we’ve been up to it a bit of a monthly roundup :)

  • New Year with family
We spend the first few days of the year sharing the sights and tastes of Nakhon Sawan with Darryl, Emma and Selina.

  • Couchsurfing
We ventured into the world of Couchsurfing and loved it – read more about our experience here.

  • Keeping ahead of our resolutions (read them all here), we visited not one but five new places in Nakhon Sawan.
Three restaurants, one cafe and one bar. We’ve already been back to the cafe (and I’ll be returning to try the cake!) and have plans to return to one of the restaurants next weekend. So far so good :)

  • Our first Mookata
Mookata is a Korean style barbecue. Our friend invited us to their house to indulge in pork, drinks and good company – it was wonderful and we can’t wait to do it again!

  • We met this little beauty
One of our colleagues had a baby at the beginning of the month. Matt’s been kept busy covering some of her classes but it’s well worth it for the cuddles :)
