The Thai Colour Code

Here in Thailand each day has a lucky colour (actually they also have an unlucky colour as well…). It’s how children learn the days of the week and many Thais will wear the colour of the day. The day you were born one will determine your lucky (and unlucky) colour. It is so engrained into Thai culture that our friend was shocked to find that we don’t have the same thing in the UK!

We’ve mentioned before that we have adopted these colours as an unofficial uniform at school. It gets us extra brownie points with our Thai colleagues and helps with outfit decisions in the morning!
